Applications that launch when your computer boots up can be annoying because it could be what causes your laptop to freeze upon startup. Its quite easy to disable these apps following these steps outlined below.
- Click on the start menu search box and type in task manager. Click to open the application.
- Click more details to see a detailed view of the task manager.
- Click start-up to view the applications that launch upon startup, their status (enabled/disabled) and the startup impact (high/low).
- Right click on the application that has high impact and you don't necessarily need when your system boots up to avoid a slow or freezing system when you're ready to go down on your work.
